Africa Illumination is for the birds

One of Africa Illumination’s recycled plastic chandeliers lives on a stoep in Somerset West. This pigeon decided it would make an ideal home for her babies. She built her nest, laid her eggs and is now raising her chicks in the chandelier.

Africa Illumination is all about enhancing potential for the sustainability of our planet. We are honoured that this inhabitant of the earth has chosen one of our products as the cradle for sustaining her little family.
